Rijula is a specialist in Restorative Dentistry and Periodontology who works as a Consultant at Newcastle Dental Hospital.

Rijula did her undergraduate training from Kings College London and graduated in 2014. She completed a further 4 years of training in a range of dental specialties and clinical settings whilst completing her MJDF in 2017 from the Royal College of Surgeons in London. Rijula then went on to start her specialist training in 2018 at Newcastle Dental Hospital culminating in Membership in Periodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh) in 2024.

 

As a consultant at Newcastle Dental Hospital, Rijula's passion involves treating patients with dental developmental anomalies and periodontology. She is also involved in training of junior members of staff and specialist trainees in Restorative Dentistry.

Having made the North-East her home since 2017, she loves exploring Northumberland with her husband and family. When not working, she loves spending her free time running around entertaining her toddler with cooking, reading, singing and colouring.
