Safely returning to the dental practice

Updated: May 28, 2020

Whilst we continue to be here for emergency dental treatment and management of dental pain, we have also been preparing to allow patients back through our doors. Our dental practice has always operated to the highest safety standards but during this 'easing' stage of lockdown, we have put extra temporary measures in place to allow for government social distancing.

We have been informed that we are able to commence routine dental appointments on the 8th of June.

Please be assured that we are doing everything we can to keep all our patients and team as safe as we can as our period of  "enforced retreat" continues to ease.  We are happy to address any individual concerns you may have as this period continues.

Prior to any visits you will be screened for symptoms of Coronavirus. If you or any members of your household have symptoms of the virus, we will rearrange your appointment for when it is safe for you to come in.

Please alcohol gel your hands on arrival and on leaving the practice. Try not to touch door handles and rails, and you will notice that magazines, coffee and tea facilities have been removed from the waiting area - we will return these as soon as we are able. Staff will remind you of these measures when you are in the building.

Please note that our team members will be wearing more pieces of equipment than usual - masks, gowns, aprons etc. This is not something to be alarmed about.

The waiting room with social distancing markers

The practice has recently undergone an extensive upgrade so we are fortunate to now have a spacious waiting room. We have placed social distancing stickers on the floor to guide you. We will be extending our opening hours and lightly booking appointments to ensure the waiting room is not full. Where possible, please try to attend your appointment on your own (unless of course you need assistance or are bringing children for their visits). If you are driving to the practice, we will ask you to stay in your car and call you when we are ready to see you.

We thank you for your patience and your continued understanding and look forward to seeing you again soon.

Best Wishes,

Andrew and Lee
